Q; You were born in Iran and brought up in Germany. How did you end up in Indian
Cinema?
– It was my dream to work in Bollywood, as I grew up watching all the Bollywood movies with the thought of becoming an actress. And that came from the fact that I would watch the movies constantly and wonder if this is what I want to be. A place where all the colors are, where all the music is, where all the dance is ya so that’s how I decided to come to India and pursue my dream.
Q; You see to have made India almost your home?
– India is my home for me now. It’s been 8 long years for me now in India and at the same time 5 years in the film industry.
Q; You have the experience of working in Bollywood. How is your experience working in Telugu Cinema?
– I have done this movie titled Devil where I have a special appearance through a song. I can’t compare it but what I do love about South India is people are so polite, it is so
different I enjoyed working in the Telugu industry and I would love to do more.
Q; How is it working in Devil? How did you land in this film?
– I was offered this song and since I have never done anything in Telugu I did my
homework and tried to find out what needs to be done. Abhishek Pictures is such a big production house in the South it was a no-brainer for me. I knew that this waswhat I should do.
Q; Devil is a period film Set in British India. Not very often do you get these kinds of films and Characters. Tell us how special the movie is?
– The period film is quite hard to make I must say, it’s expensive to make, takes so much time to go back into those times, with all the costumes they also have to get the looks correct so I do think that movie is extremely special that way. About my look, it’s quite special to me as I have never done that look, hair, red lips jazz type of music. So I am extremely excited about it.
Q; A lot is being said about your special song in the movie. How is it going to be?
– I worked on this film as a special song only. I hope it’s gonna be a big one I hope people are gonna like me and this song as well I am new to this industry I hope I get a lot of love.
Q; How is it working with Kalyan Ram?
– Working with Kalyan Ram sir was an unforgettable experience, he was very quiet and shy on set but yes he was really helpful and I had a great time. Especially in my scene with him where I had to say dialogues in Telugu and he was very helpful, I am not well versed in Telugu, but I know 7 languages and I would love to learn Telugu as well if I get to do more work.
Q; What is the difference between working in Tollywood and Bollywood?
– I can’t say anything on this as I am extremely new here in Tollywood but as of now it’s the same. Everyone is equally professional.
Q; How confident are you about the film? Do you think the film will be a game- changer in your career?
– It all depends on the audience how much they love the film. How much my character and song have an impact. I am confident about all the actors, directors, and production house as we all gave our 100% so let’s see what happens.
Q; Besides doing films, you are also actively doing television. How are you balancing both?
– Besides films, I do web shows, and I sing as well I am balancing all of this. I think I am good at balancing it I love doing everything. You need to find a balance when you love the Rush, that stressful life constantly flying here and there finishing this and that so yes I love this kind of a life.
Q; In the next two years, how are you going to see yourself?
– I can’t say but definitely I want to give more attention to music, I love singing which I started in 2022 by now I have released 2 songs and my 3rd song is also coming. I would love to do more Telugu films for sure.
Q; What are your upcoming films?
– Sangeen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui it’s a thriller, Raneeti it’s a series that will be released on Jio cinema, my song Woah will also be coming there so there are multiple projects in the pipeline you will get to know soon.
